It’s a privilege to have work featured in some fantastic publications. It’s amazing that these publications have given my stories a home.
Here are some highlights from a few of my favourite stories, including A hand to hold, my Kalemba Award-winning story.
He died and her existence shifted. The rock of her life had suddenly been sucked out of the world. She had never seen her mother spend so long huddled over in tears, body shaking with silent sorrow. Never before had she lost the words to encourage or express affection for her mother.

Darkness envelopes her. She has to blink to adjust her eyes. The voice pulls her deeper into the dimness. Kunda moves steadily, but her breaths are small and shallow. There is no relief from the mustiness.

She has to look again. The couple have their faces close to each other, he holds her hand, kissing the inside of her wrist, but their eyes are locked in a playful dance. There is a magnetism between them that jumps out of the frame.
